Monday, July 27, 2009. Today's summer activity was making homemade applesauce. When we were visiting Lorin's Aunt Linda in Vermont, she had some homemade applesauce. The kids loved it! I think Lindsay loved it at first site because it was pink (made from red apples)! So I ran accross a recipe to make it from your crock-pot, we are in business! It was quite easy! Here's a picture of the after. I thought it was quite delicious and to know all the ingredients were natural makes it even sweeter!

Olivia was sick today (strep throat), which is highly unusual for her. Even the pediatrician commented, "I'm used to seeing your brothers, not you Miss Olivia."
