The Daily Bread Adventure

Wednesday, September 14, 2011. This is Stevia, getting ready to start flowering. It was generously given to us from my dad's neighbor and is now sitting on the back patio, enjoying the sun. As many people starting to find out, stevia is a great replacement for sugar. When we first received it, I tasted a leaf, straight off the plant. It surprisingly tasted like sugar! Well, I'm off to enjoy the day. God bless! Tuesday, September 13, 2011. Saturday, September 10, 2011. Starting last Saturday, we visited a...

They marched in like troops lining up for battle. Jason and Carl, don't see them coming. Luckily they have their exploding squash ready for war! Jason preps the crew for some double digging in the new field, some have weapons ready to dig. They slayed the field and churned it's soil. Princess Cagney hath vanished.

The Daily Bread Adventure: Hands On Nashville

http://dailybreadadventure.blogspot.com/2011/09/hands-on-nashville.html

Saturday, September 10, 2011. Using the Hands On Nashville (HON) website Cagney and I jumped into a few new projects this week. Starting last Saturday, we visited and helped out at the Bell Garden in Bellvue TN. This community garden has an excellent infrastructure, and water spickets added just this last week. Cagney and I have volunteered the last two Saturdays. This is the largest sunflower in the entire world. With it's seeds, it can feed a family of four for eight years (not true). After gardening i...

The Daily Bread Adventure: New Job?

http://dailybreadadventure.blogspot.com/2011/09/new-job.html

Tuesday, September 13, 2011. Cagney is always making people mad. We helped double dig the new bed at the farm. In the afternoon, we stained some cabinets at my NEW JOB with Westminster Presbyterian Disaster Assistance. Do what you love. Love what you do. I would be doing this exact same thing back in KC but for different reasons. Glad I'm here. God bless and have a good day! September 14, 2011 at 4:40 AM. Congrats on the new job. Monday, July 18, 2011. At Grandma's Store in Manchester with Kelly, Cagney, Grandma and Ninja Mitch. Lucy taking a nap in a "sold" couch, don't tell Grandpa Al. Ribby, ya that's right, I said Ribby. Everybody knows dogs start every word with the letter "R". Some beautiful clouds we saw one night hanging with Mitch and Kelly. Starting from the back, Kelly, Mitch, Phil, Kristi, the most beautiful woman in the world, and me! What's up with the guy in blue? Cagney doing something she does very well! While ou...

A Good Poop Is A Blessing

Sometimes It Happened Ten Years Ago Today. I have written about Wilco many times in these pages. The same is true for Kevin and Brett. Many times. Wilco's songs have gotten me through some very rough waters, and I am forever grateful to my friend Michael for introducing them to me. Sometimes It Happens" off the 'Whole Love' album stuck in my craw since the first time I heard it. What is this fountain, and why the grass? Why do friendships have to pass Jeff. Why? But as he circles towards the central matt...

Daily Bread: A Fashion Blog

Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Oh, woman, tell me what you want. And I'll calm down without bleeding out. With a broken heart that you stabbed for an hour. Woman, I was freaking out because I want you to know. My beloved, you are the lover of my impossible soul. Woman, too, promise me you'll stay and put off all your woes. I was wigging out, too much worry. I could not get you at all. And you said what you want, you would laugh it off. But I know you won't go, not for it at last. If I could get you at all.
