The Adventures of Fei Kaidi: Bonus language post!
http://feikaidi.blogspot.com/2008/07/bonus-language-post.html
A few people have asked me about the language stuff in my first post. So here's a quick how-to, for all of you who care to know:. If the Chinese characters are just showing up as question marks. If you're using Windows XP, go to the Control Panel (classic view preferable), and go to "Regional and Language Options." Go to the "Languages" tab, and check the box next to "Install files for East Asian languages." If you do this and it still doesn't show up, tell me! There might be another step involved. July ...

The Adventures of Fei Kaidi: June 2009
http://feikaidi.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
It's currently Saturday-turning-Sunday. I'm leaving Kaohsiung early Wednesday. I lose my internet sometime between now and then. I know I have many unblogged stories. Those things that I said I'd blog about back in September, well, I still remember them. And the month of July, when I'll be sitting on my couch waiting for my employed friends to get off work, will be a perfect time to write those blog entries. Goodbye and thanks, Fulbright. Taiwan, you've truly touched my heart. Married to tell us oh!

The Adventures of Fei Kaidi: March 2009
http://feikaidi.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
I was in the middle of an entry on my trip to Lotus Lake with Lauren when the sound of several fireworks in loud succession coming from very close by interrupted my train of thought. I was forced to investigate. Apparently, the temple across the street from my apartment building is having some sort of temple parade right now. I saw some temple parades in Tainan, but they were all around 10am on a Saturday (or was it Sunday? Also, in my family, this is not. Just an average Tuesday. It is my 奶奶. Lauren and...

The Adventures of Fei Kaidi: Wiener Trip 2k9: Vienna, Day Two
http://feikaidi.blogspot.com/2009/09/wiener-trip-2k9-vienna-day-two.html
Wiener Trip 2k9: Vienna, Day Two. Saturday, we did not have nearly the agenda that we'd had on Friday, but still managed to see quite a lot of the city. We first wandered to Stephansdom. A huge, very old, very beautiful church. The exterior is daunting but still approachable, while the interior is enough to take anyone's breath away. We didn't do any formal tours, but I took plenty of pictures. Jonathan eats a Wiener wiener and drinks some Wiener beer:. A building, most certainly part of the Hofburg:.

Hairspray: The Finished Product. Opening night was on Tuesday. A good time was had by all. How Taiwan does "black". a little awkward? An ensemble piece, "I can hear the bells," with the "plump" Tracy (she's wearing padding):. I worked with the guy who played Seaweed on the English in his lines. I was a little concerned and confused by his flat delivery when he practiced with me. Imagine my surprise when this is who he became on stage:. Last Friday afternoon, I ventured to 大仁科技大學. Students enter five-year...

The Adventures of Fei Kaidi: Milo has fallen for an older woman
http://feikaidi.blogspot.com/2009/10/milo-has-fallen-for-older-woman.html
Milo has fallen for an older woman. Lately, though, instead of claiming spots at opposite corners of the kitchen (their domain during the day- at night Milo stays with me and Daphne with my mom), they've been sharing the bigger bed and cuddling. While I'm pretty sure Daphne is in it for the comfort and warmth as the temperatures grow colder, Milo seems to have drawn bigger conclusions. Let's hope he can shake this affection when we finally move out of the house! Cougartown for Canines.it works for me.
