No stupid extravagant gestures, no sitting on feelings for months and months and watching as she goes off with someone else, and definitely, absolutely no telling of my feelings to any other people before I tell her myself. Oh, if only things worked out that way, eh? And cut my hair short. Made actual efforts to become more outgoing, to stop refusing invitations, to go out more places. It's a GREAT idea! I have no balls.

There were extra readings and songs between each readings and candles and all sorts of extra-curricular activities. Some guy got baptized and confirmed on the same night.
