Surviving Motherhood: Karate
http://alisontaber.blogspot.com/2011/10/karate.html
Tuesday, October 25, 2011. I'm very proud of him. Here he is in his uniform and white belt. Soccer is winding down for the season. Luke really enjoys being the goalie, and is pretty good at it too. Last practice was last night, and the last game is on Saturday. Following the game, is the end of season pizza party at 12:30 and then Luke has a birthday party at 2pm. Whew! And it's only going to get worse when Gavin decides he wants to start activities too. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Surviving Motherhood: Big Boy Toys
http://alisontaber.blogspot.com/2012/02/big-boy-toys.html
Monday, February 20, 2012. Saturday, we celebrated Luke's 5th birthday with a trip to Pump it Up with all the kids from his preschool class. Unfortunately about of third of them came down with that awful Stomach Virus that has been infiltrating everyone's homes. But they all had a great time, and I was able to "sell" back all the juice and goodie bags that weren't used. Bonus. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Come on, drink the kool-aid. Wide World of Stuff.

Surviving Motherhood: Junior Orange Belt
http://alisontaber.blogspot.com/2012/03/junior-orange-belt.html
Monday, March 5, 2012. This past weekend, Luke tested for his Junior Orange Belt in Karate and passed! Because honestly, I didn't want to go to this thing. And before you get all super judgmental, let me just say that the event was closed to spectators. So I would have had to sit there and entertained Gavin for almost 2 hours in the smallest waiting room known to man. Getting through half hour once a week is bad enough. Below is a pic of the kids. I told you Star Wars has exploded in this house. October ...

Surviving Motherhood: Getting Babies
http://alisontaber.blogspot.com/2012/02/getting-babies.html
Friday, February 17, 2012. One of Luke's classmates became a big brother right before Christmas. This gets the gears in Luke's head turning. One night after stories, he says me, "I want to have a baby. So, when are we going to get a baby? ME: Luke, you don't just "get" babies. You don't go to the store and buy a baby." Which was a really dumb thing to say on my part becasue then it led to the next question I wasn't prepared to answer; "So where do they come from then? This is NOT going well. Conversation...

Scrappin' Mom: July 2012
http://scrappinmassmom.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
A journal of life as it happens - recording the major milestones and little tidbits so I can scrapbook them later. I wish I could devote more time to blogging these days, but the best I can do is to post when I can. Saturday, July 7, 2012. Summer Vacation: End of Week 2. With so much excitement about the new Hexapillar, the Dandelion wanted his too. Unfortunately, he still had 3 activities left to do. After a couple tantrums he finally settled down and got to work on his "schoolwork". Point to Happy : A ...

A journal of life as it happens - recording the major milestones and little tidbits so I can scrapbook them later. I wish I could devote more time to blogging these days, but the best I can do is to post when I can. Thursday, September 1, 2011. For a moment this afternoon, the kids were in a sharing mood. I was enjoying the sound of them playing together nicely, so I took a few minutes to get something done. Noting the size 4 on one of them]. Yeah, but I don't mind. She said I could have them.". I am a s...
