We've had twice as much rain as you'd expect for the time of year, appox. 9 mm more than we had in the incredibly wet month of June 2007. And the mean temperature was a very fresh 12.3C or 54.14F. È stato restaurato dopo le devastazioni dell'ultima guerra, quando il soffitto ligneo e gli arredi andarono completamente perduti. Martedì 1 gennaio 2013. Al limite meridionale di Antignano, Miramare è un piccolo promontorio con una meravigliosa vista sul mare. Sulla sinistra, all'orizzonte, è appena visibile la sagoma dell' isola di Gorgona. Sulla destra possiamo vedere una nave da carico in rada e in basso, sull'isoletta rocciosa, un cormorano solitario. Mercoledì 25 febbraio 2009. Noi lo chiamiamo il “grattacielo di Piazza Matteotti”, anche se arriva appena vicino alla categoria. Se tecnicamente non è un grattacielo è un edificio così alto, relativamente a tutto quello che lo circonda, che può essere visto praticamente da ogni parte di Livorno. Lunedì 13 luglio 2015. Il grande capannone blu. C'è stato un sacco di rumore riguardo a quello che ho chiamato un orrore in bella vista. Molto prima del mio post ed anche dopo che ho cambiato opinione al riguardo. Lo stesso era già successo con il nuovo parcheggio. Costruito dove si trovava il Cinema Odeon, su cui non ho affatto cambiato idea. La costruzione di questa nuova enorme struttura sul nostro lungomare ha incontrato invece un assordante silenzio. Sulla collina possiamo vedere le rovine del Mausoleo di Ciano. Ancora più a nord, una veduta dal mare del Grand Hotel Palazzo.
