Did you happen to catch this article? Bothered me about the evolution article on yahoo. Gasp) It's not a theory that is supported by all in the scientific community. Only those who refuse to see any other possibility to the evidence that is gathered whole-heartedly believe in evolution, and whole-heartedly refuse to believe in God. Less ...

Shepherding My Flock: Taco Soup
http://shepherdingmyflock.blogspot.com/2012/07/taco-soup.html
Our adventures in home schooling, vegetarian eating, and life in general. July 4, 2012. This soup is hearty, healthy, and tastes just like a taco in a bowl. The best part about it is, it's super easy to make! You can make it either vegan using veggie broth and sans cheese, or vegetarian with cheese. This recipe serves 6. 2 15 oz. cans pinto beans, drained and rinsed. 2 15 oz. cans diced tomatoes. 1 7 oz. cans diced chilies. 1 medium onion, chopped. 4 cups water or broth (chicken or vegetable). I'm a home...

Shepherding My Flock: January 2011
http://shepherdingmyflock.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Our adventures in home schooling, vegetarian eating, and life in general. January 19, 2011. Wow, I haven't written anything new on this blog in a really long time! I guess it's better late than never, depending on who's doing the waiting, right? I can kind of understand this man's intentions. Most likely, good intentions, at that. However, the road to hell is paved with good intentions. If they are truly a church crowd, then he's preaching to the choir. That I think is really great. It points out how...

Our adventures in home schooling, vegetarian eating, and life in general. June 27, 2012. Okay, I came across this menu board. Idea on Pinterest. If you've not heard of Pinterest, where have you been? Just kidding. Pinterest is a site that "lets you organize and share all the beautiful things you find on the web. People use pinboards to plan their weddings, decorate their homes, and organize their favorite recipes." So, it's basically virtual bulletin boards. Here's a picture of my finished product:.

http://shepherdingmyflock.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Our adventures in home schooling, vegetarian eating, and life in general. May 20, 2011. Books, books, books. Next week is our last week of the school year. We are just about done with everything except History, Math, and Language Arts. It's definitely been an interesting year! What I loved was playing a game a couple weeks ago where they had to match names of people we learned about with what they are known for (Reformer, King or Queen, Artist, Writer, etc.) Names like Ulrich Zwingli, Mary Tudor, and...

Shepherding My Flock: February 2012
http://shepherdingmyflock.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Our adventures in home schooling, vegetarian eating, and life in general. February 14, 2012. I adapted this super easy recipe from one we already make, which is fried rice. When I make fried rice, I usually start by making rice pilaf with rice, onions, garlic, and chicken broth. Then for the "fried" part, there was usually chopped chicken, lots of veggies, and eggs. For this version, I made plain rice with veggie broth. Then I used the same process, without adding chicken or eggs. You can pretty much put...

Our adventures in home schooling, vegetarian eating, and life in general. February 13, 2011. I browse certain websites often for the latest information in Prophesy news, news that correlates to Creation science, and once in a while, videos posted from YouTube on various sites. Is it strictly the desire to create conflict? Are they sincerely trying to convince the Christians reading the articles or the comments to reject their beliefs and become Atheist as well? And why are they targeting Christians?
