Still Crafty After 50: September 2010
http://stillcraftyafter50.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 19, 2010. Wool Debit Card Holder. I love this cute holder. I had to make it because my wallet keeps de-magnetizing my card - this is my third in two years.so I decided to make a separate case for it.and of course it had to be red wool with felt details. It only took about 30 minutes to make and by using. To glue on the details on I know they won't come off. Labels: Aleenes creative living. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Wednesday, March 12, 2014. PRETTY IN PINK NECKLACE. Here is my new necklace I made for my friend Doug Alves over at Play Create Grow. March is National Craft Month and he invited me to create something for him - hope you like it. I used old jewelry and some felt plus a few interesting pieces of chain. Here are a few more pictures of steps. It's really easy and can have so many different looks by just changing jewelry and felt. Hope you have fun. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Tuesday, October 30, 2012. Here are some cute little onesies I made for Halloween this year. I really like them and they were so fun and easy to make.Felt or fabric pumpkins were glued on then stitched in place. Add a few ribbons - the bow is pinned from behind so it can be removed for washing - and rick rack for cuteness. Sew on some buttons for color then add Tulip 3-D Fabric Paint dots on the sleeves - have to have polka dots.and they are done. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Friday, August 31, 2012. Last weekend some friends and I got together for a wonderful day of crafting to make our Christmas cards for the year. My friend Debbie (the lady in green) designed all these beautiful cards then was nice enough to cut, punch, and assemble all the parts for us. I hate to ask how many hours (days) it took her. It was SO much FUN! Here are the cards we made - we were given enough to make two of many of the cards. Aren't they wonderful? Sunday, August 26, 2012. Here is a child's roc...

Still Crafty After 50: April 2012

Friday, April 27, 2012. A Very Polished Necklace. I few years ago I purchased some small glass glob ornaments. I knew I wasn't going to use them as ornaments - but as a necklace - and use fingernail polish to paint them. I mentioned this to my sister and she said she would like to make it. Here she is testing each color on aluminum foil. Some of them really change color when brushed out. Tuesday, April 24, 2012. A Facelift for Mickey. When I got a new car I took off my cute license plate surround. I ...
