Wednesday, 18 December 2013. What a busy time it is in the run up to Christmas, presents to buy and wrap, cards to write and post, food to plan etc etc, how do we find time to finish sewing the items planned as presents. Just managed to finish this little trio that I've made for my friend for Christmas who I am seeing tomorrow. Its from a pattern purchased from Daisy Chain Designs www.daisychaindesigns.co.uk. Blog I often use blue and green together, I think it's a lovely colour combination! The patterned paper is from the K&Co 'Small Wonders Boy' range and the main image is a Magnolia stamp. Wednesday, 23 May 2012. Worn and washed quilt. It all started with this. I was at Quilts UK at Malvern last week and had stood and gazed in awe at the fabulous quilts on display. Tuesday, 29 May 2012. A rainbow in my garden. We've had days and days of unbroken sunshine and HOT weather. at last! More poppies. orange ones. Green - acer and ferns by the pool. Purple - Jacob's Ladder. No sewing to show you this time. though in the evenings I have been busy working on the Worn and Washed quilt. Free Motion Longarm Quilters. February the Month for Valentines. February 11, 2013. Curlytop & Honeybun. This single size quilt was simply quilted with a freehand meander and hearts, only through the white open areas, not crossing the appliqués. Very pretty. July 16, 2012. Curlytop & Honeybun. At 47 x 74 this is a single bed size. Pieced in blue, turquoise and mauves with a white backing. Each spiral was highlighted using a groovy board spiral set on the centres. And tagged Groovy Board. Is it Spring yet?
