Wednesday, October 30, 2013. It's the Ocean Mom! We finally had an opportunity to go to the beach this past weekend and even jet ski. We had so much fun! The thing is I have been to ponds, lakes, rivers, and oceans and never have I entered into a large body of water and it was so warm. This Ocean was like bath water! Sunday, April 6, 2014. We are back. I'll admit it was very hard to come back. Not just because of the vacation aspects of it and the beautiful scenery but because of the lightness there. It's just very different here in Dakar. Here are some differences:. They have a McDonald's. They have huge road signs. Saturday, January 10, 2015. The Other) Saint Louis. Some beautiful pictures a friend took that I just had to share. Saint Louis is about 3 hours north of Dakar. Look at all the garbage. Once you have been here for awhile you get used to seeing it (because it is everywhere! Saint Louis (pronounced Sane Lou E) is known for their Bird Sanctuary.
