Ok don't know if you guys saw the headlines today, but it has been approved that female civil servants may take up 5 five years off to care for their children. As quoted by our DPM " Some. May decide that their priority in life is to take care of their children, so we are giving them the choice.". Geethanks for the 'choice'! This was decided by men wasn't it? It seems like something a man would come up with.yeesh. Did anyone think this through? 5 Days off Work?

How does one choose which path to take when the person(s) you potentially take this journey with know that they want you on the journey with them, are not giving any indication of such, or more, probably know they want you with them but can't admit it to themselves or let alone you? Do you take the risk with the first, knowing you could potentially never get acknowledgement from them, or do you wait for the second to come to their senses?

So far the only good things that have happened to me are (1) I get a holiday to Singapore for four days, starting tomorrow, and (2) I have a temp job for three months whereby I do easy editing on MS Word/Excel etc and get free wireless internet!
