June 20, 2008. It's Dale's birthday today! I tried calling him before I went to work but no answer. I hope he's golfing and not working. HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD! June 11, 2008. CD of Mom's Funeral. Hi family and friends, it's Lori here. I have bad news. The CD that the church was suppose to make of mom's funeral service did not happen.:( BIG BUMMMER! The person who usually tapes the service was gone that weekend and they had a fill in. NO LUCK. It did not get taped originally. How am I doing you ask?

March 31, 2008. Hi everyone. Ms. Lori again :) 2nd day in Charlotte and it's VERY cold! Brrrranticipating tomorrow as it is slated to be 69 degrees. More like Charlotte weather. We started the morning with Barb visiting.the Hospice nurse. LOVE her! She's originally from Ohio and she's a hoot! Super fun and funny. Her stories were delightful. She took mom's vitals and chatted with us a while. I went to the dining room afterwards and asked her a few tough questions without mom around. Mom enjoyed that call.

Saturday, April 05, 2008. My sister and I are visiting Mom and Dad in Charlotte, NC. Mom is on the downhill side of a year-long battle with cancer. She was diagnosed Christmas of 2006, and has been a real trooper. It is really sad to see her so sick, and hard to know the end is coming.
