Off dry but not sweet. Strong midpalate of lemon and under ripe apricot. Medium bodied. Surprisingly good acidity. Finishes dry and tart with good length. $5.89 at GoodyGoody. Sweet, but not overly so. There is a bit of astringency throughout, but it is not distracting. Finish is long with dried, dark fruits and surprisingly dry. $16.49 at GoodyGoody. The nose has vanilla, licorice, and a tiny floral scent. The taste is mainly vanilla and spice, with some green vegetal notes and a tiny bit of cherry. No noticeable tannins.
