Monday, January 31, 2011. The holidays are now over. *SIGH* Sadness and relief all rolled up into one big sigh. Now that the holidays are done, we have resumed our day-to-day life, and I finally feel like I can function normally and not on "panic mode.". My little girl has started gymnastics this month and is. It I sat in a couple of times, and watching those little girls learn to do their tricks is absolutely ADORABLE! So, instead I am putting in a picture of my little BoBo. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Tuesday, October 5, 2010. Not Exactly a Green Thumb. The heat spell broke, and all seemed well . . . until this afternoon. We got a rainstorm, then the wind started picking up, then the hail came. When all was said and done, not much was left of my little garden. Actually, we got off pretty lucky. I lost most of my plants in my garden, and the mesquite in my backyard is bowed over, but many got it worse. Saturday, October 2, 2010. What a hard worker, and sure fun to watch! Brian and Lilys Pad. Thursday, May 30, 2013. Just look at him. A little early, but in honor of Father's Day. I'm guesstimating the date around March/April 1979 definitely 1979. He was NCO of the Apr-Jun quarter. So Brian was 21 yrs and Dustin was about 10 months old and Mandy was in the oven 3mos :) That's how old you guys are and that's how young your parents were. But today during sharing time I was grateful I was there. The little girl that gave the scripture made my day. She read John 13:34-35. 34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. 35 By this shall all men know that ye are my despicibles. Makes me miss primary!

Brian and Lilys Pad. Friday, February 22, 2013. Baa Baa King of the Hill. In the field down the road from us they have put their sheep out to graze.but what they do when they're not eating is play King of the Hill .which I think is hilarious. This poor feathered guy struts around my 'garden' calling for his girlfriend.and can't seem to find her. The snow is now gone but the cold weather is still here but my 'garden' is full of paperwhites, daffodils are popping up everywhere.I can't wait for spring.

Friday, July 12, 2013. Make Friends with Pain". John and I went to the small mountain town of Leadville, CO to run their trail marathon and heavy half. We both had a great time even though it was kind of tough-reaching elevation high of 13,185 feet! Running the "Heavy Half" 15.5 miles. Running the Full Marathon! July 13, 2013 at 10:32 AM.
