Old news, but new as well - Linnéa

Old news, but new as well - Linnéa. 02 July 2009 @ 12:39 pm. Old news, but new as well. I got my degree certificate in the mail today. Except that mine wasn't that much of an ordeal. I was an utter bundle of nerves beforehand, but once we got started it turned out to be rather a fun occasion - getting to talk for almost two hours about your own research, where nobody can stop you. How cool is that! 7 comments Leave a comment. On July 2nd, 2009 12:01 pm (UTC). Congratulations, Dr Jlms!

The Angels: kremmen
http://kremmen.livejournal.com/41905.html
Last weekend, I drove over to Adelaide with. To see The Angels performing with the Adelaide Art Orchestra. She wasn't feeling well and spent the whole drive lying in the back seat. (Yes, given my car, that does make for some creative packing.) It was a lovely Friday for a drive, and I'd packed some cassettes for when there wasn't anything good on the radio. We had taken some board games along at Damien's request for Sunday, Shear Panic. On Monday, we drove to Robe and next day on to Tantanoola Cave.

Reality - I dont think so, not yet. It's been a while, hasn't it? Apr 2nd, 2015 at 10:52 PM. SoI started in a new job a little over a month ago. It's another of those 6 months contracts, and even though my manager has already asked me if I'd like to stay on IF a position opens up within the company, I'll probably be jobless again by September. Until then though, I'll just give it everything I have; while applying for other jobs outside of the company in my spare time. 12 Speak Like A Child. I was just th...

Kinda Busy, The Good Kind - Canetoad. Kinda Busy, The Good Kind. Nov 4th, 2014 10:50 pm. I am busier these days than I've been in ages. No, that's not true. What is it, then? I'm learning a lot of new things and reviving old skill sets gone rusty from disuse. It's enlivening. I feel as though I dipped my toe back in the stream of What's Happening and was inadvertently carried away on the current. Oops! I'm juggling several projects and having a fabulous time! The writing is interesting because I've not e...

Back in the Day. I remember a time -. Measuring Out Life in Coffee Spoons. Jun 23rd, 2014 at 4:53 PM. Oh look, I haven't posted here in nine months. I've been having trouble logging on at home, then wifi died on the Mac and I've not really had time to follow through. For example, right now I should be writing a three-week-overdue 7,000 chapter on gay young adult fantastic fiction. Except each of those three terms need a thousand words to gloss. And I'm not convinced it fits the book anyway. Richard t....
