Archive for April 2010. We spent the day driving in the Gold Coast/Northern New South Wales hinterland and it was stunning! We set out towards Springbrook, then down to Murwillimbah and on to Uki cafe for coffee. Byron Bay was just down the road so we picked up some supplies and headed up to the farm. Archive for February 2010. Well here we are in Australia! It has taken a month for A to find work. He starts in 2 days so we have been very lucky having him around for AO’s first 7 weeks, my real test as a mother of 3 starts on Monday! My babymoon was not as I imagined! Archive for July 2010. July 11, 2010. When the bubble bursts. We were just waking up to a lazy Sunday when CJ went through this. Our day did not go according to plan! CJ went by ambulance to the hospital where he was cleaned and stitched up. Poor A who went with him almost fainted twice. He was back home by the early afternoon and is feeling fine. What a fright. June 20, 2010. MC turned 2 and had a Birthday Week. She is still talking about her Happy Birthday, her cakes and burning her lip on one of the many candles. May 2, 2010. One day my babies will all leave the family bed asking for their own space in their own rooms. That will be a sad day indeed, but also a celebration of independence. August 8, 2010. To my sweet AO,. Here is the story of your birth. I contacted Vanessa in NZ and she put me in touch with Mandy, the homebirth midwife who had supported her through both her pregnancies and births. I felt happy with the recommendation. We arranged with Mum and Dad to stay with them in Raumati for 8 weeks and to birth you there in the downstairs flat where we would stay. Again, all looked as it should. I mad it on to the plane!
