Could they be worthy of song as King David believed and penned in Psalm 119? Kickball on the Mall (and Pokemon Go!

Damascus Road Media and Culture: February 2007

http://damascusroadtucson.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html

Damascus Road Media and Culture. A discussion of meaningful media. Tuesday, February 20, 2007. Oh My God" is a phrase I am convinced everyone will use at least once (most like more) in their life. It has really become a phrase we hear so often that we don't even think twice. The following song lyrics rally got me thinking about how I have (rightly or wrongly) used the phrase. I'm sure i use it too often casually, and not often enough in wonder/awe. Everyone says it, but why? Oh My God" - Jars of Clay.

Monday, March 08, 2010. Clearing the Air (April 4). Description: Jesus told us He is the way, the truth, and the life. To sin is to commit spiritual suicide. Monday, March 08, 2010. Uncovering the Real Smell of Sin (March 28). Description: Jesus was intentional when He talked about sin, and He quite often mentioned sin with forgiveness. The parables give us a clear view of how Jesus perceives sin, and in digging into the original cultural context, we can find parallels to what they might look like in our society. On the Road to Damascus

On the Road to Damascus. My walk with God. Thursday, August 13, 2015. My mother is at the end of her life. She smoked menthols for fifty-two years and that has decimated her lungs. She has emphysema and chronic obstructed pulmonary disease (COPD). Her lungs are only functioning at around 10%. She is slowly suffocating to death. Death by suffocation is what effectively happens to a person when they are crucified. It is a slow, painful, and an extremely scary way to die. Why was my mother made to suffer?
