LAUNCHed - ST GEORGE'S DAY APRIL 23RD. Soft George - A Liverpool Tale' is Bill Dawson's. A tale about devilish dragon a gruesome giantess, two dashing princes and Soft George. A Liverpool Legend. Bill finally got round to putting the story down on paper and then the search was on to find an illustrator. After a few false starts he found the wonderful Helen Bennett. She managed to find the essence of Bill's characters and turn them into wonderful pictures. Price - £8.99 at local Book Shops.

I received Great news yesterday.The University of Liverpool will be giving all the Chinese delegates, who come over twice a year to build links with them, a copy each of Soft George as a memento of Liverpool.
