iPad Tips: Sending an iMessage

http://www.danaarmstrong.blogspot.com/2014/08/sending-imessage.html

Monday, August 11, 2014. Firstly, click on the "messages" icon. Now click on the button that looks like a square with a pen coming in from the top right corner. This button means to compose new message. Type danab.tamatea@icloud.com into the to: space. In the space below, write the word you used to describe your first week with an iPad. No question is too "silly" and I've already been stumped (thanks Ross) so if I don't know how to help you, I'll ask uncle google! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

iPad Tips: Closing down apps

http://www.danaarmstrong.blogspot.com/2014/08/ipad-2-closing-down-apps.html

Monday, August 11, 2014. Opening an app is relatively easy, touching the app icon will usually do it. Shutting them down is a little bit more complex. Clicking the "home" button will put the app to sleep, it will not shut it down. Having sleeping apps is generally not problematic, but it can slow down your iPad and use up your battery life a lot faster. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. A Juicy Conspiracy: Day 97 - Orgasmic salad!

http://juicyben.blogspot.com/2008/04/day-97-orgasmic-salad.html

Saturday, April 19, 2008. Day 97 - Orgasmic salad! How freakin' wonderful it was to have a salad after all this time. I think I could honestly eat salad for the rest of my life. And be completely content. I had the most orgasmic first salad ever. and it was QUITE basic. I wanted to keep things simple but healing at the same time. I used to drench my salads in dressing. I didn't want that at this stage anyway (I make a mean tahini-garlic dressing by the way! A squeeze of lime was all this salad needed!

Tuesday, April 15, 2008. Day 93 - Prunes day, the full story. Day 93 was actually a really good day. I was supposed to take the day off work but there's just so much going on at work right now that I ended up working from home. I think that was a nice compromise. I was able to sleep in, make juices as I needed them and use my half-hour lunch to do a quick video of me eating prunes (which I'm glad you all enjoyed hehe! Can't wait to make you guys an awesome "thank you" dinner :P. You're almost done too!

Sunday, April 20, 2008. Day 98 - Last day of feast-breaking. I guess juice feasting is really over. What a great journey this has been! Today was another fun-filled salad day. A Juicy Conspiracy: Day 96 - More fruit.... (and some cheating!)

http://juicyben.blogspot.com/2008/04/day-96-more-fruit-and-some-cheating.html

Friday, April 18, 2008. Day 96 - More fruit. (and some cheating! Today was another fruity fruity. Day except for the bag of dulse. I broke into later in the day. I rationalized that the 12 hour difference from end of fruit day to beginning of salad day was negligible so I should be able to pull this off. I must be the first person in the world who feels bad about " cheating. On his diet with DULSE! Dear lord. it's so good for you! Oh well. we all have our weaker moments eh? This should get better. Let The Beauty Of What You Love, Be What You Do. Nobody Said It Was Going To Be Easy. It’s the start of October, which means that last month was the hardest month of the teaching year. In September, is when I lay out the expectations, the groundwork and the flow for the learning in our classroom. With this comes the hardest and most frustrating aspect; getting the students acquainted with technology as a learning tool. They won’t ever remember log-ins! Use the expertise in the room.
