Sunday, December 21, 2008. Here are the results of our recent excursion to get family pictures. For the most part they turned out really good, but it is quite an undertaking to get everyone to be serious in the same picture. These are some individual pictures of Ethan that were taken separately around the beginning of November. He's quite a bit bigger than that now. :) We estimate that he is in the range of 17 lbs. now. Sunday, November 2, 2008. Ethan is a wonderful baby. He is happy almost all of the time. Catherine is getting worn out because he eats so much. He started his 2-week growth spurt when he was a week old he's still in the middle of it. He weighed 7 lbs 1 oz when he was born and we guesstimate that he is in the range of 12-13 lbs now. Ethan is so cute! I can't believe how big he is.Janie is around 9 pounds. Catherine- I hope you're getting more sleep than I am :). November 3, 2008 at 10:08 AM.

Wednesday, April 23, 2008. We thought this news warranted a post to the blog. An ultrasound today at Catherine's appointment revealed Jaime and Catherine will be even more outnumbered in our household. IT'S A BOY! I guess the goods news is that I won't have to take out a second mortgage on the house because Catherine might've went crazy shopping if it had been a girl. Sunday, November 2, 2008. Everybody had a great time on Halloween night. Ethan even got in on the action and went trick-or-treating for a while. I can't complain about the weather this year. It was so mild that we didn't even need jackets. It did start to rain a little while we were out, but it's better than snow.
