Maracas is known for its great beach AND for its great sandwich - the "Shark and Bake." This sandwich is made from shark. Real shark. Yum! Trinidadians love to put hot pepper sauce on their food. I had my sandwich with "light pepper" but it was still pretty spicy. I built a sand castle. I walked on the beach. The weather was great.

The first surprise and probably the biggest of my life was expecting to pick up 4 lobsters from my little sister, Leah, who lives in California. We expected to pick them up at the airport. He is 21, his name is Jonah! It was such an awesome surprise!

Some of the highlights are: duct-tape, cardboard boats floating down the creek; pillow fights late at night with about 15 girls; chapel; box hockey; playing in the creek; mini (olympic type) competitions.
