Everyone was heading to fireworks after that but I was a party pooper and decided that Benson should go to bed at his normal bedtime and so should I. Last weekend we watched our friend's three girls while their mom and dad went out of town to try and find a house since they are moving to Florida. Phew! Going from one kid to four was tough. Dan and Katie Tengelsen. It's who we are! Thursday, July 23, 2015. Hello Little Man,. I can't believe how fast this pregnancy is flying by. People often ask me things like, "Are you hanging in there? I still feel really good, although I am large and in charge ;) The other day, I threw a baby shower for a friend who is due at the end of August. Afterwards, we measured our bellies and mine was 1/2" bigger. Ha! I still have about 3 months left, but I look like I am due soon. We'll talk soon little mover!

When we were in Minuteman Park there were lots of signs about ticks. We got home super late so in the morning I told Dan to check Benson really good for ticks while they were in the shower. Monday, September 23, 2013. I am currently 38 weeks now! I have been SO anxious to meet this little boy and I now feel that at 38 weeks we can get the ball rolling. Suggestions on safe, effective ways to naturally induce labor are much appreciated :). With James I went to 41 weeks and had to be induced and it was sort of a traumatic labor and delivery you can read my post about that here. He just didn't want to come out! My checklist is DONE! Here's a sneak peek into the nursery:. Love love a good deal!

I haven't posted in forever. I had an awesome time in Utah for Harm's wedding! I hope I can get my hands on some pictures soon. Work is going well and I really enjoy my colleagues. Glen is busy studying and getting ready for the semester to come to an end. Found out I am going to be an AUNT to a Galan baby! Okay, so I'm not really going to be an Aunt, more like a second cousin but Leslie is like a sister to me so as far as I'm concerned her little baby is my niece/nephew. That about sums it up for now!

Friday, April 30, 2010. On Monday, the Larsens went on vacation and left me in charge of the kids. Yes, all 6 of them for a week. Luckily I have done this twice already, so it was no biggie. Although I was drained by the end, after only being home half an hour I was already missing the kids like crazy! It was hard watching all of them, but I would do it every day if I could (oh wait, I already do) I LOVE these kids, they are so sweet! Yes, very energetic, loud, and crazy, but SO fun! DADDY PICK ME UP!

Tuesday, July 7, 2009. I made a surprise visit to see my family a couple weekends ago. It had been awhile since I had seen them and felt like I needed to be there and spend time with them. I was going to surprise everyone, but found out they were all going to be in Moab that weekend. So I just told my parents and surprised everyone else. Gloria walked in first and was shocked! I could have hugged her all day! Can you tell we are sisters by our unplanned matching outfits? It was so nice to be home!

So, we've been here in Austin for about a year now, so there are several things I've become accustomed to: (Notice how I did not say I am used to these things yet, just accustomed). Geckos, occasionally in my apartment. Bugs, occasionally in my apartment. Very friendly people who will talk to you even though you are a stranger. Church building being 15 minutes away. Bars (not because I GO to them.but because they are everywhere). Homeless people on every corner. Cockroaches, occasionally in my apartment.

Life at the Ellsworth home has been busy! When we went to our appointment a couple of weeks ago the doctor told us she wouldn't be surprised if she saw us in the hospital the next day. Monday, February 15, 2010. Later that night I got a surprise on my doorstep, Jared had left me a frog and a letter. A couple hours later Jeremiah brought me over chocolates. This day just kept getting better and better. Chocolates, Flowers, and stuffed animals are keys to a girls heart, so how could anyone not love this holiday? Some are little, like they call soda "pop" and Texans refer to everything as "coke". Others are slightly bigger, like they celebrate something called "Sweetest Day".
