Everyone contributed to the feast, including the missionaries who brought a pie (impressive). Nate and Kacey Call Family. Monday, June 1, 2009. Anyway, we took the boys on their first "slot canyon" hiking experience and they absolutely loved it. We hiked through the Little Wild Horse Canyon located on the Southern edge of the San Rafael Reef. We all had a great time; the weather was great and despite the crowds, we definitely experienced that wonderful feeling of isolation that only a desert can provide. Tuesday, June 28, 2011. I went home this past weekend to play with these little munchkins. I had so much fun! It was so funny! I just love that I have the cutest niece and nephews in the world. After dinner we went outside and were playing with pop-its (the fireworky things that you throw on the ground). We were a little worried about how Liam would act around them. Treasured Tidbits
Saturday, July 2, 2011. I Love the 4th of July. The Balloon Festival begins bright and early at 6:30! Anyone who knows my family knows that that is an unheard of hour. But we were able to pull ourselves out of bed to see the beautiful balloons rise up, up, and away. A few we even got to see come back. We cheered as they tossed beanbags from their baskets onto a big X marked on the field. These are the best smiles you can get from my half-awake kids (and daddy)! Sunday, October 31, 2010.
