It isn't always pretty, but it's honest. Sunday, April 3, 2011. Tomorrow I start my new job. I am nervous, Jim is excited. This is the first job I have had outside of the sporting goods industry since 1997. Eeek. Jim is pretty sure I will love it once I start. His main point is that I will have adult conversation. I will tell you that Aidan and I have had some pretty great conversations. The thing I'm most nervous about is how to dress! Silly but I've worn jeans to work for nearly 15 years!

It isn't always pretty, but it's honest. Tuesday, June 15, 2010. Bees / Sky Sox Game. Before Aidan left for the summer we took him to a Salt Lake Bees vs. Colorado Springs. Sky Sox game. Aidan and I went to a Bee's game in May and loved it. This was part of Jim's Birthday present too. I will admit that my real goal was to see hottie Huston Street but he wasn't pitching. Boooo. It isn't always pretty, but it's honest. Monday, February 14, 2011. Jim and I exchanged "gifts" last night. We had decided since he was gone so much that we would celebrate when he got home at the end of the month but, like always, he broke his promise! I gave him a card and he gave me a beautiful necklace and earring set. I cannot believe how much I love this man. We have been together for 4 years and I can't image anyone I would rather be with. He is my favorite person and best friend! Me and my storey.

It isn't always pretty, but it's honest. Wednesday, February 9, 2011. So, it has been a very long time since I updated the blog! Time has flown and many things have changed! I am able to take Aidan to school and pick him up. So far, so good. I have a million photos on my camera that I need to upload and I will get around to that in the coming weeks. It isn't always pretty, but it's honest. Tuesday, February 15, 2011. Aidan is never sick. He got strep last year and has allergy problems but I have never seen him like this. The flu has hit him hard. He was so bummed to be inside when it was nice out this weekend and kids were playing and then he had to miss the Valentine's Day party at school. Wednesday, October 7, 2009. Spider of Unusual Size. Let me begin with this. Spiders do not ordinarily affect me. However. As I walk to the mailbox this is what is going through my head. Is that an egg sack? If I step on it will a million little babies come running out at me? If I squish it? Will it really die?
