The answer to life, the universe, and everything. Hang on, what was the question again? The Dawn of a New Day. Asymp; 4 Comments. Stuff you should know. Do you ever put off things you are supposed to do? Procrastination is counterproductive, but you already know that. The question is why do we do it? The answer to life, the universe, and everything. Hang on, what was the question again? Asymp; Leave a comment. Last week Nikolai and Margaret went to Science Quest Day. Camp all week. The answer to life, the universe, and everything. Hang on, what was the question again? Asymp; Leave a comment. Focus on yourself exclusively for 10 minutes at the start of the day. Each morning, before you race off pleasing others, ask yourself What do I need to do to really. Sit with that for 10 minutes, and don’t let you mind skirt off to what do I have to do for my family or my boss? Take control of your obligations. And rein them in. Reach out and ask for help. Take at least THREE 15-minute breaks.

It really has been a leisurely summer, and more fun than last year since the kids are older, but I am already looking forward to the structure of the school-year again. We had our first peach harvest this week! Earlier summer canoe trip on the rushing Brazos River. Father's day trip to Lion's Park. And his first camp!

One thing that hasn't changed, though, is the way this kid eats a cupcake. Wow. What a mess. Well, I had written a bit about this girl too last night, but it seems to have disappeared, so I'll keep it short and sweet. We had a little dedication liturgy for Eliza Jane at Hope Fellowship on Sunday on top of all the birthday celebrating. W...At th...

The bradford pear out front has shed its colorful leaves. From a spontaneous hike along white rock creek some time. The Christmas Place, as Benjamin calls it. The weekend after Thanksgiving. In Sulphur springs. This place has some magic for us. Here's Mary Lucy giving. Out the popcorn- a moment recalled frequently throughout the year. Distingu...

JB reminded me that if I am writing a post about reading I need to mention Benjamin's obsession with the "contents of april," his name for the "table of contents." It has proven impossible to change his way of saying this. I'm sure it's one of those things that will work itself out.right? I think this was an attempt at "rest time". Reading right there in the middle of things at Poppa Rollos. She's being very sweet about it, but that won't last long.
