Simply Strong Dance | Dance By Design

We are excited to be offering Simply Strong Dance. This is an affordable, 8 week summer program designed to help you keep your strength and flexibility while polishing your technique. Students will be taught Ballet, Lyrical, and Jazz classes each week. For dancers, age 8 to Adult (beginner/intermediate ). Classes will be held Thursdays, June 19th August 7th from 5:15 to 8:30. Take all or one class, it is up to you! With savings this great it won’t hurt to even miss a week or two if you need to.

This class is a combination ballet and tap class for dancers age 3 to 5. Each week the class will be split; half ballet and half tap. Students will learn basic ballet and tap steps and terms. Dress Code: Black tank leotard, black pull on skirt, pink ballet tights, pink leather ballet shoes (no slippers allowed), black tap shoes, tap ties. This is a ballet class for dancers Age 6-10. Why is your tuition cheaper? We are a family-friendly, economy-aware studio. We love dance and we try to keep it affordable for today’s families so more people can enjoy dance. (We also have multi-family member discounts). Why is your dress code so modest? We want to provide an environment where everyone feels comfortable and can focus on dance. We also try to encourage our students to respect themselves and to be confident in who they are rather than how they look. What are Free Fridays? What do I do?

While our students learn specific dance terms and movements, they also learn the basics of choreography (creating a dance). A dancer needs to be more than a person with all the moves, they need to know how to put those moves together. Any High School or professional dance company will require their members to choreograph. We hope that our classes will prepare our students to take on such challenges.
