I just passed another milestone in this life of mine. I got my driver's license! We completed the dresses this afternoon around 3:30 pm I was amazed at how quickly we got them done, especially since we didn't even have Friday evening to work on them, as Miriam was accompaning Ben Simon in a recital. But we did, and they're lovely, if I do say so myself! I just had to post a lot of pictures!

Last evening mom and I arrived back home from the Above Rubies Retreat. I really enjoyed the weekend away, and learned a great deal of things that will be most helpful as I look forward to being a mother. Sharing a room with 3 teen girls and 6 ladies resulted in little sleep, but I thoroughly enjoyed myself!

Nothing Like a Baby. Yesterday I had the wonderful privilege of holding sweet baby Joel for over 2 hours while he slept a lot and was awake a little, and he was just so cute! What is it about a baby that makes them so cute - no matter what they're doing? Now, I know that babies aren't always. And, babies do.

On Thurday October 30th, 2014 the GLC (Golden Learning Centre)staff and students had a Harvest lunch in their gym because the green gang grew the vegetables in their school garden. They had spaghetti, Buns, carrots with dip, and salad for the harvest lunch. There was some grade 4’s dancing during the lunch. For Desert they had apple bars with pumpkin cream cheese.
