Friday, December 18, 2009. One of the nice things about living in the tropics is that you can go summer activities such as sailing on the ocean. The people back in the U.S. are bundled up for winter while my friends and I are off to another sailing adventure! We boarded Pelican Eyes sailboat and headed off to Playa Blanca (White Beach) north of San Juan del Sur. We spent a few hours there beach combing and relaxing. On the return trip, we were treated to a glorious sunset! Sailing off to Playa Blanca.

Now our kids in the basketball clinic have shoes, instead of running around barefoot!
