DancingElla's Words: Going Home
http://dancingella.blogspot.com/2013/08/going-home.html
Short Stories, Poems and More Words written by Ingrid Prohaska. Sunday, August 11, 2013. I stood at the shore at dawn. And looked at the sea. Tranquilly I watched the waves fooling around. And I listened to their calming sounds. Impulsively I accepted their invitation. Slowly, step by step I walked into the shallow water. I didn’t care that my white skin-tight pants got wet. I just moved on. When the water was up to my knees. I perceived the extent of width. How reassuring the deep-blue appeared to me.

Short Stories, Poems and More Words written by Ingrid Prohaska. Wednesday, March 27, 2013. The Moment of Goodbye. There was a time I missed you. The Black Marble Clock, Paul Cezanne. Doch diese Zeit ist nun vorbei. I spent much time with waiting. Time which simply passes by. I feared to face the moment. The moment of goodbye. I thought I have to take it. The suffer and the pain. Thought really I could make it. If only I were not that vain. I thought it were a good thing. Reduced what I call pride. Recent...

Viennese Legends: October 2011
http://vienneselegends.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Retold by Ingrid Prohaska. Monday, October 31, 2011. Jörg von Rauhenstein was a drunkard and a gambler; he lived so long in the lap of luxury until the fortune he had inherited from his father was gone. Without a coin in his pocket he moved to Vienna together with his wife and their child. Ruefully he gave up his slovenly life; he found a job as armourer and soon the little family lived in modest prosperity. But after a couple of years he succumbed to the temptation to drink and to roll the dices again.

Viennese Legends: August 2011
http://vienneselegends.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Retold by Ingrid Prohaska. Friday, August 12, 2011. The oldest preserved graveyard in Vienna is a Jewish cemetery located in the 9th district. It was created in the 16th century and between 1540 and 1783 the main burial site for members of Vienna’s Jewish community. At that graveyard you find a secluded fish sculpture made of limestone. Of course there exists a legend about this sculpture. One day the Jew Simeon caught a big fat fish and was looking forward to the meal. Special thanks to JRD Skinner.

http://vienneselegends.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Retold by Ingrid Prohaska. Saturday, February 11, 2012. The Tree of Lamentation. It was in the middle of 13th century when a terrible disease broke out in Vienna. It spread around rapidly and disfigured people in a horrible way. No one knew a remedy for the plague and so people who were infected were brought to a hospice outside the town. In the following night the priest took crucifix and holy water and went to the mysterious tree accompanied by a group of people. As they came closer they clearly he...

Retold by Ingrid Prohaska. Friday, June 24, 2011. Once upon a time a very poor weaver named Paul Urssenbeck searched for a godfather for his twelfth child. He asked every relative and every acquaintance but no one was wealthy enough to take the responsibility for the sponsorship. On his way back home he had to walk through a piece of forest. Here, there, and everywhere... | Tristy's musings on life and travel
From the ice: My Antarctic Adventure. Here, there, and everywhere…. Tristy's musings on life and travel. November 11, 2009 by dancingelk. I spy a glacier. I spy a little blue hut. I spy yellow mountain tents. Tent in front of Canada Glacier. I spy two rocket toilets. Erm, sorry, no photo). Do you know where I am? The mountain tents that were issued to us this year are the kind that are annoying to erect. But they’re warmer than the Scott tents, so I’m ok with them. Some of the people are the same, and so...

What I love about the EmoTrance seminars most is the range of people and the issues they bring. Even as a trainer I learn something new with each seminar and client because there are always new stories, new circumstances, and new trauma to be healed. There were 10 attendees at this last training. So, I replied to her let’s play! She reported that she was much calmer...
