Thursday, April 29, 2010. I ate something interesting today! I had 香蕉飴 or banana yee. If you translate the words directly. It is a Taiwanese snack made from sweet potato powder, banana oil, and sugar. It has the consistency of jelly but its not jello. It reminds of a soft, chewy candy with a hint of sweetness. These sugar cookies are simply addicting and yummy! 3 The cookies have a soft texture and are mildly sweet. The recipe is quite simply, requiring only basic ingredients.
