Orchard Musings: God Light in a Gilded Cage
http://orchardmusings.blogspot.com/2015/08/god-light-in-gilded-cage.html
Ramblings of a Farm girl, mostly for her own amusement. Tuesday, August 11, 2015. God Light in a Gilded Cage. I've heard a child named this "God light.". I like that. There's a good reminder of the. God-light shining on our little corner of the world right now. God light is good stuff to feel the presence of when you're feeling a bit like this drippy bird, just clinging to a twig in a deluge, trying your best to keep a few dry feathers. But all the while, still knowing that at least you've still got wings.

Melancholy Nature: September 2011
http://melancholynature.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Writings, Rants, and Ramblings from the Fringes of Insanity. This is a blog about me, my life, my thoughts, and whatever else I choose to post. Some will be original works, some will be things I have gathered along the way. Regardless of the origin, all of them will be representative of some part of who I am, who I have been, or who I hope to become. Friday, September 23, 2011. UNDER the overhanging yews,. The dark owls sit in solemn state,. Like stranger gods; by twos and twos. Until that melancholy hour.

Like a zombie after staying up too late because. The sky was awake until 9:00. She's going to want a coffee. Remembering that she harasses her husband to. So she'll turn to unload it. And sh...

Orchard Musings: Hermione Bag
http://orchardmusings.blogspot.com/2015/07/hermione-bag.html
Ramblings of a Farm girl, mostly for her own amusement. Thursday, July 23, 2015. Hermione Granger and her beaded bag with undetectible extension charm has met her match. I mean, seriously. Is there anything this bag CAN'T fit? Pictured are the more "typical finds" I haul around on a daily basis. NOT pictured are the "extras" I sometimes haul, like a change of clothes for myself, a bag (or two) of food, DSLR camera, random toys for kids, flashlight, and sunblock. The list is pretty fascinating:. Something...

Orchard Musings: Night-Hiking (My Story, Version 3)
http://orchardmusings.blogspot.com/p/my-story.html
Ramblings of a Farm girl, mostly for her own amusement. Night-Hiking (My Story, Version 3). Working at the children's camp where I met my husband (as a camper, but that's another part of the story), we used to lead night hikes. The idea is wonderful- get kids out, in the dark, where they can learn to rely on underdeveloped senses to "see" the world differently, and might even have the chance to see the. But oh, how I dreaded these hikes! My "big story" would have been that I recovered completely from the...

Ramblings of a Farm girl, mostly for her own amusement. Thursday, July 23, 2015. Amusement parks are, well, amusing. I think we need a new viral photo campaign:. Post pictures from your adventures in amusement parks, with the most amusing human moments caught accidentally in the background. If something is in your tooth, it needs to come out. NOW. Actually, she might be gagging herself. Maybe she wanted off the ride. At first glimpse, you have a picture of my mom, mid-laugh, (or eating lemons, maybe?

Orchard Musings: April 2015
http://orchardmusings.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Ramblings of a Farm girl, mostly for her own amusement. Tuesday, April 28, 2015. I've been working hard in the studio on "good days" to meet my commitment of sending a girl living in Nicaragua to nursing school this year. It is my prayer that this endeavor will be blessed and that we'll see it to fruition. I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to selling art. What's the value of a painting? Is it worth more if I struggled with it and poured more hours into trying shape the final piece? I'll go on p...

I think I may have written about this topic before. but I can't help myself. When I stumble across sites like this. I have to shake myself. This simply cannot be a real woman in the real world making real lunches. This is the lunch I remember:. Impossible-to-open cardboard carton of (sometimes expired) milk. Mother of the year right here.
