Tales From My House: October 2014
http://talesfrommyhouse.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Tales From My House. Sunday, October 5, 2014. Renaissance Festival and Just One Baby. Watching the human chess match while enjoying some ice cream. Jack and Kara both tried rock climbing (Anna wasn't interested). Jack on stage during one of the shows. Kara in the same show, poor Anna didn't get to volunteer. Oddly enough, this wasn't anyone's favorite. Luke alternated between his stroller and the carrier. Saturday, October 4, 2014. Jack and Anna Turn 7. The birthday boy and girl. After lunch, a nice neig...

Tales From My House: March 2015
http://talesfrommyhouse.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Tales From My House. Thursday, March 19, 2015. Little Lukey is One! I am not sure what happened to his shoe, but here we are putting in the bear's heart. He wasn't so happy in this picture, but he really did have a great time playing outside. He is just starting to sleep through the night (knock on wood! Sunday, March 1, 2015. My own mother died shortly after Jack and Anna were born, so now they have no Grandmother, which I find incredibly sad. I lost my last Grandma when I was in law school and Thom...

Tales From My House: End of School & The Start of Summer
http://talesfrommyhouse.blogspot.com/2015/06/end-of-school-start-of-summer.html
Tales From My House. Sunday, June 28, 2015. End of School and The Start of Summer. As usual, I am behind on my blogging. I think at this point, I can probably stop opening with that- it can just be assumed. The kids wrapped up the school year. We had the first grade picnic and the Kindergarten graduation. They received their final report cards and we excitedly started summer break. Our cuties on the last day of school (Kara chose to wear the same outfit that she wore on the first day). Luke loved the fir...

Tales From My House. Saturday, July 25, 2015. Birthday Extravaganza and Lots of Surprises! Tuesday, the kids were extra-special-nice-to-me. They actually made it through the whole day without fighting (which is what I always ask for whenever anyone asks what I want for a gift). It was AMAZING! Thursday, Thomas turned 40! Feeling lazy on the lazy river. You may recognize this Luke position from our Nationals game blog. Luke's favorite form of protest. This was the girls' favorite area. Even Luke enjoyed t...

Tales From My House: End of Summer
http://talesfrommyhouse.blogspot.com/2015/08/end-of-summer.html
Tales From My House. Sunday, August 16, 2015. I feel like I should get a shirt made: I survived Summer 2015! It was a long, busy, fun, frustrating summer. Although we didn't do any big vacations, we spent lots of time at Kings Dominion. We also went to Mount Vernon (three times), George Washington's birthplace, Fort Washington, baseball games, and many outings here in St. Mary's (library, pools, parks and museums). My goal was to stay busy and I think we accomplished that. Give the boy a button to push.

Tales From My House: November 2014
http://talesfrommyhouse.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Tales From My House. Sunday, November 30, 2014. Grandpa Kurk's Visit (Thanksgiving Week 2014). While at Panera, we discovered that Luke REALLY likes pickles. He cried when it was time to go and we tried to take the pickle from him. It was really nice to have Kurk to stay home with the kids, otherwise, it isn't possible for the two of us to just go out like that. Luke searching for his first Christmas tree. With the finished product. Luke helping Daddy with the lights. Kara with the 1951 Ambulance. Hallow...

Tales From My House: May 2015
http://talesfrommyhouse.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Tales From My House. Monday, May 25, 2015. One of our only Mt. Vernon pictures. How would you like this view from your back porch? Saturday night, we had dinner at the Darrow's house, one of my favorite Maryland traditions. We have been alternating months at each other's house for about 4 years now. Obviously, we have missed some months, but for the most part we have been pretty faithful. It is something our family really enjoys. Alecia is a great cook and we just enjoy the company. Luke loved climbing a...

Tales From My House: December 2014
http://talesfrommyhouse.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Tales From My House. Sunday, December 28, 2014. Christmas: The Main Event. Not that I am complaining. That will be the new line we say to each other whenever we are not pleased with how something is unfolding. Anna asked Thomas to swaddle her in the new blanket. He also gave me a beautiful ring, earrings, the fitness watch I wanted (see, New Years Resolutions Blog- coming soon), and lots of other awesome stuff. Also, Luke clapped last night for the first time during the karaoke show. I guess he was w...
