Monday, 7 July 2014. The Last Blog. For now ;-). We had breakfast this morning and for the first time none of us had a full cooked breakfast. We all had cooked but just chose the bits we wanted. We were served our breakfast, which was lovely but none of us felt like eating it this morning after eating so late last night. It was a really lovely hotel and very comfortable. Today we are heading for Dumfries, about 58 miles. Caroline was not going to attempt to ride until much later in the day, as she wanted to rest her leg as much as possible. I put parchment paper on bottom and then when it comes out of the oven. I pick up the sides of the paper and pour it into a bowl and mix thoroughly.
