Thursday, April 11, 2013. When I heard I was pregnant with our fourth baby, I cried. I didn't know how I would cope with four children, one who was nine, and then three little ones under three. I didn't know that I could be stronger than I realised, that I had more than enough love to go around, that somehow is would all be ok. I didn't know then that a beautiful. Sunday, December 16, 2012. You may remember when our family went on a holiday to America earlier this year, our entire duck family were killed by foxes. Our beautiful drake, Freddie, tried to protect his girls and managed to survive for a few days, before dying of an infected wound.and a broken heart. It was an awful day when we heard the news. Even though I knew that this is the cycle of life, it still hurt and we all cried to think of our ducks being scared and dying in this way. Boy do they eat A LOT!

Ramblings of a mad stitcher. Saturday, November 15, 2014. I had a brilliant time at this months Art A'peel meeting, it was one of the most enjoyable days I've had in a long time. We spent a day with Textile Artist Elizabeth Morley at her studio on her property at Coolup, just south of Pinjarra. She and her husband only moved to the new property a year ago and they've worked hard and created a wonderful place to visit. The gardens were beautiful and gave us lots of inspiration for drawing and design.
