The only place we have it right now is in the bedrooms, 'cause we can't figure out how to put it in downstairs without making the house ridiculously vulnerable to break-ins. One of the windows in Jeff's office would work, if the sill wasn't crumbling. Anyway. I'm just so glad we have it, or I'd be truly miserable. July 29th, 2015 01:23 am (UTC).

It was so dark that it seemed we could reach up and touch the stars. It was one of my favorite nights. I have found out that if I'm looking closely at the right time, when the hummingbirds finish drinking from the feeder, I can seem them flick their tiny tongues. I nearly passed out from the cuteness of it all.

My new bird feeder hangs from the window above it. There are birds hanging about nearly every time I glance out the window. I absolutely love that. July 17th, 2015 06:20 am (UTC). As I type these words, the app on my cell phone shows 4,523,651 steps total since 7 May 2014. Figuring 2000 steps per mile, that's just shy of 2262 miles, which is the distance from my home in Maryland to my brother Patrick's place in Tucson.
