With that being said, Brooke and Troy had a baby boy in April and we got to be part of the family celebration of his blessing. Dawson Clem Young is as damn cute as his parents and it was such a joy to finally meet him! Joe and I cooked for the celebration so that Brooke could spend time with her new mother-in-law, Janice (who is a DOLL, by the way! All in all, it was a great day and we enjoy...

It's been so long I'm not sure how to do this anymore, nor do I have much time BUT.I wanted to get some photos up of my kiddos and our summer events. Probably our favorite part of Disneyworld. This picture of the giraffe was taken without zooming in. They were really that close! Here's Mr. Max.He's now 9! Love this guy and his cheeky cheeks! We've been bowling a few times. It's free for the kids. So it's a nice...Max w...

Leavitt Lane: LOVE TO SEE THE TEMPLE
http://jj-coolbeans.blogspot.com/2011/07/love-to-see-temple.html
We may not have it all together, but together we have it all. Monday, July 18, 2011. LOVE TO SEE THE TEMPLE. We woke up Sunday morning and decided to make the 4 hour trip to the Kirtland Temple. We are SO glad we did. It was very interesting and a great learning experience for all of us. It was well worth the drive. The kids were so excited to be able to see and go inside the first temple. After visiting the temple, we went to Historic Kirtland and saw a few things there. July 19, 2011 at 12:23 AM.

Leavitt Lane: June 2013
http://jj-coolbeans.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
We may not have it all together, but together we have it all. Friday, June 28, 2013. As soon as we got off of the plane, met up with dad, and loaded into our new-to-us minivan, we were off to see some sights in DC. AFTER (Lyza is conked out in the back seat). On the way into Walmart today, we had our first encounter with an Amish horse and buggy. Reed thought it was pretty mean of them to use horses as cars. We had a quick history lesson on the way into Walmart. :). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Notice Number Three with his hands in the air. He did this every time we took off, experienced turbulence, and landed as if we were on a ride at Disneyland. Pretty cute. I managed to take all five kids swimming Friday, and it actually went rather well. Forgive me for not having any pictures to post.I h...The k...

Since we started at ISU with orange, then went to red at Cornell, the green and gold combination practically makes me giddy with joy;) But, I digress. It took Joe lifting and me pulling to get him up there with me, but he was so excited to be there! It's a single driveway, which then branches to a double garage, which we can use half of (weird, huh? As you may notic...
