the rhoads family: master bath reveal
http://markariandylan.blogspot.com/2014/11/master-bath-reveal.html
Tuesday, November 11. I honestly would say that I keep forgetting to post photos and details about the big master bath remodel that took place ALL. LAST. YEAR, but I was actually waiting until I got around to cleaning it so I could take photos, too. Ha. I have created a Pinterest board. With most of the resources for the items we choose in the bathroom. If there is something that you would like to know more about, just ask! Hopefully, I will get around to taking photos of the guest bathroom, a.k....The 2...

the rhoads family: February 2013
http://markariandylan.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 28. You guys asked for it, so here it is! Let me just warn you - it's like picture OVERLOAD here! I tried to take a picture of every little step and there are a LOT of little steps you have to do, but totally worth it! First things, first. You MUST have an embroidery sewing machine to be able to do this. I have the Brother SE-400 that I got a few years ago and I love it! It's a great machine, especially for the price! Here is my setup when I applique. 7 spray glue that works on fabric.

the rhoads family: Organizing children's artwork
http://markariandylan.blogspot.com/2014/11/organizing-childrens-artwork.html
Wednesday, November 5. I have struggled with finding a way to organize Dylan's artwork that has started coming home from school with him for a while now. It normally was put on the refrigerator for everyone to see, but it began to look like a mess, especially for this Type A personality. I started throwing some things away that I would have liked to keep. Is anyone else like this? I'm going to assume it's not just me! I purchased a curtain rod wire from Ikea and the small clips that hang on it, too.

the rhoads family: The BEST self-tanner
http://markariandylan.blogspot.com/2013/05/the-best-self-tanner.html
Thursday, May 16. I love this stuff so much, that I NEED to share it with you! I have seen numerous Facebook posts of everyone back in the tanning beds to get ready for summer and as much as I would love to go lay in one, too, I know I shouldn't! I have turned to Mystic Tan at the local tanning salon lately and I love it, but that can get expensive. I FINALLY found the perfect at-home self-tanner for you! I have used it 5 times now and I love it more and more. The bottle is still really full, too! Too I ...

the rhoads family: Monkey & Mommy week
http://markariandylan.blogspot.com/2013/05/monkey-mommy-week.html
Friday, May 24. Monkey and Mommy week. I always feel like I am not doing enough. With Dylan each day. I took him to the Science Spectrum. I wondered what I had gotten myself into when we pulled into the parking lot and there were about 15 school buses there. Next time, I am going to take him on STAAR testing day! It really wasn't too busy, though, especially because he spent most of his time inside the Children's Museum section that is only allowed for small children. He loved it there! I'm such a loser!

Sunday, April 19. Lilly Pulitzer Target purchases. I have been flooded with texts, Facebook messages, Instagram messages, and phone calls asking what I was able to purchase from the Lilly Target debut today. Luckily, I was able to score almost all of my purchases last night online and I am so glad I did because I heard the stores were a madhouse today! I know you're thinking, "Wait, what? She wasn't at the store this morning? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Oh, and Go Red Raiders! Life in a Zoo.

the rhoads family: December 2012
http://markariandylan.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 21. I was waiting until I received word from people that they received our Christmas cards before I shared them online. I wasn't certain I was going to be able to get them all finished in time and thought they may end up turning into Happy New Year cards, but I managed to get them done! We have to trust our vet about this and just pray - he is our first baby and we will do anything for him! And since this post is about Christmas cards, I have to say each year my disappointment grows more...

the rhoads family: October 2012
http://markariandylan.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 4. OK, I think. That everyone that was supposed to receive an invitation to Dylan's birthday party has gotten theirs now. There was a little hiccup in the mailing department with them. They really weren't that. I am not going to lie, I felt a little bit of pressure with these invitations. I have been making party invitations for quite a lot of people this year and this was my. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Oh, and Go Red Raiders! View my complete profile. Life in a Zoo. the rhoads family: November 2012
http://markariandylan.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 19. I am going to spoil the surprise for some, but I thought some of you might want to know what we are giving as little Thanksgiving gifts this week. I don't really think Thanksgiving gifts are necessary, but it's a nice gesture, if you have time. Last year we did these. Little cards and mailed them out to some family and friends. For our Mom's this year, I embroidered a plain white dish towel ($2.00 for a two-pack at WalMart) to say "Happy Thanksgiving 2012! Sunday, November 18. They d...
