Sunday, May 24, 2009. Just learned about another serotonin-boosting supplement I haven't tried yet . . . Is it chocolate covered? Forget covered, is it chocolate? May 28, 2009 at 12:08 PM. July 1, 2009 at 9:21 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Book of A Thousand Days. I hate housework but love a clean house, read whenever I get a chance, love hanging out with my husband and kids more than just about anything, and almost every day I can't believe what a beautiful world God made for us.

a small helm: Telluride last year
http://smallhelm.blogspot.com/2009/06/telluride-last-year.html
Tuesday, June 16, 2009. Check out this footage. From last year's Telluride Bluegrass Festival. Eric helped film (with his brother and another guy) and produced all the videos. Note the drop-down menu where you can find tons of pieces. I remember the first time I heard that song, ten years ago now. Blew me away. It was on Sam Bushs 1999 release, Peaks of Telluride. Cool to see the all-star band. Great musicians all of them. You guys filming again this year? June 16, 2009 at 10:18 PM. A person named Eunice.

a small helm: An Early Spring Canoe Trip
http://smallhelm.blogspot.com/2009/06/early-spring-canoe-trip.html
Sunday, June 14, 2009. An Early Spring Canoe Trip. There are four kids in this video but only three from our family. That's because we did a little cousin swap- Rachel stayed and played with a younger cousin, while an older cousin came canoeing. This was the first time we put the canoe up on the minivan (we've taken it out lots of times with the Taurus). Can I just say I'm thrilled to now have a son who's taller and stronger than me? I cant wait to see everyone again this summer! June 14, 2009 at 5:38 PM.

a small helm: April 2009
http://smallhelm.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 14, 2009. My body seems to be working hard to teach me this. I fell down (my own) stairs last spring. It was a bad fall, but seemed healed after 2-3 months. About 6 months later I started experiencing severe lower back pain. Sometimes I'd walk the halls during church because I couldn't stand sitting anymore. I've always thought of myself as healthy and strong. Now I have arthritis at age 39. My mom says I should get a second opinion, in case it really is something that can be fixed. I hate...

a small helm: January 2009
http://smallhelm.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 11, 2009. A friend sent me a facebook "Sixteen Facts" challenge (16 facts about yourself). Intimidated, I avoided it for quite a while but remained intrigued enough to leave it in my inbox. I've finally done it and figured it was about time for a new blog post so why not get extra mileage recycling it here. (I made it all the more efficient by successfully avoiding the urge to edit it to death.). 3 All of us love the cold, foggy, rocky, green, dramatic Oregon Coast. 6 I started college as...

a small helm: November 2008
http://smallhelm.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 26, 2008. 7-9 veggies a day? Keep a variety of fruits and veggies that you like. On hand in their easiest-to-use forms. Whenever you eat, choose some of those. So what do we really eat every day? Lowfat cottage cheese with grapefruit, pineapple, mandarin oranges, strawberries. I like cottage cheese contrasted in the same bite with something tangy. Oatmeal, the old-fashioned kind. Lean sliced ham, fried with little or no oil, fruits or veggies on the side. A small bowl of granola.

a small helm: Yesterday was a pretty good day
http://smallhelm.blogspot.com/2010/03/yesterday-was-pretty-good-day.html
Sunday, March 28, 2010. Yesterday was a pretty good day. I also vacuumed. And the kids did their weekly chores. Altogether, our house doesn't look too bad. If you wonder why this is such a big deal, see my bio in the right column. After all that, there was still time left for me to read! Since the sun was gorgeous but the wind cold, I enjoyed its rays and my book sitting inside the car, like a cat seeking the perfect warm spot. Reading is my ultimate comfort food. a small helm: A Thoughtful Spot
http://smallhelm.blogspot.com/2010/03/thoughtful-spot.html
Sunday, March 28, 2010. A few weeks ago:. Rachel is wandering about on the March-brown grass of our backyard talking to herself, probably a solo imagination game. Sarah knocks on the window at her. I know." Rachel goes back to strolling and talking. I see her a while later, hood off, long brown hair streaming wet, face looking thoughtfully downward, still walking, still talking. Also, I pictured Rachel so vividly from your description.lovely! March 28, 2010 at 8:10 PM. March 28, 2010 at 9:26 PM.
