Sunday, May 2, 2010. For my birthday Pieta, Jenna and I went to Pressure Drop. A play/gig about English life in 2010 for middle class white folk. It was at an art gallery called the Wellcome Centre in Euston. Billy Bragg and his band provided the music. Wicked. I got to meet him again which made my night. He's so cool! I got an autographed book too which I can add the Bragg memorabilia pile. He's playing 20 nights so I may go back. 1 hour each way isn't fun. But that is London. View my complete profile.

Monday, February 15, 2010. Valentines day was spent with my gorgeous girl at the 02 Arena in Greenwich for the Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck concert. Beck shredded his little fingers off and Clapton was simple amazing. The place was packed to the rafters. We were literally in the rafters, 20000 people back. We kind of got lost but after a while Chris found his bearings and got us to our destination - an abandoned Limestone mine. Perfect spot for a fire. He came prepared with breads, wine, apples and spices to make mulled wine. Genius! Hope we get to do it again soon. Thanks Chris! It was minus 2 degrees! It's 2pm...

Love the area, great house and housemates, rent is super cheap for London $140 aud/week.Double room, super fast unlimited internet, 600 cable tv channels (I only watch one station.DAVE, 24hr Top Gear) and all bills included. Dooshin! Any drink possible) for 5 pounds from 7-9pm. I just bought another lens today for $50aud. Score! Between the Buried and Me.

Wednesday, September 30, 2009. Galactic Center of Milky Way Rises over Texas Star Party. This will be my new travel buddy as I'm about to embark on a trip to Thailand, Singapore, UK, France, Italy and wherever from there on in. So I'm busy reading up on all of the functions and doing online tutorials to get up to scratch before I leave. I hope to do some astro photography when I head down to Woody Head/Iluka this month. There's not much light pollution down there so it should be good fun.
