Lady in a Shoe: Dear Church Family,
http://ladyinashoe.blogspot.com/2015/07/dear-church-family_84.html
Saturday, July 25, 2015. Dear Church Family,. Ten years ago we were at our family reunion and early Sunday morning I woke all the kids to make the trip for our first Sunday here. When I woke up our little Robbie and told him we had to get ready to go to "Dad's new church", he promptly told me that it wasn't Dad's church, it was God's church! This little one who didn't know who Jesus was when he first came to our home spoke truth to this apprehensive soul. I love you,. Gods plans are always best. Figuring...

Lady in a Shoe: May 2013
http://ladyinashoe.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 6, 2013. It's Me, Oh Lord! She stood in a crowd that usually sits during the singing. She stood because the words on the page that planted into her heart would not let her stay down. The words lifted her to her feet. Desperation maybe? It's me, Oh Lord! Standing in the need of prayer! Maybe desperation. It didn't bother her to be the only one standing because she was not even aware of the other 400 voices singing the same words. It's me, Oh Lord! Standing in the need of prayer! That old gospe...

Lady in a Shoe: November 2013
http://ladyinashoe.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 15, 2013. The words screamed off of her blog page. I don't think it was a proclamation to the world as much as an attempt to convince herself that she, indeed, is worthy. Just yesterday, hearing "I feel worthless" from one who keeps trying, yet failing in another's eyes. And then a couple of weeks back, being taught by a little one. That sometimes we listen to the wrong voice and sometimes that voice is loud and powerful, but it is still the wrong voice. But the LORD is not in this wind.

Lady in a Shoe: September 2013

Sunday, September 8, 2013. Three Girls - Eighteen. Things are changing at our house. When Michael and I married we had three kids and that was enough for us. For a little bit. We were ecstatic when we found out we were going to have twins. Kayla sure. Was Then before we ever really slept, we found out we had another one coming. Might as well have one little one for every big one, right? Hannah and Leah got chicken pox one week and Rachel the next. I missed church for four weeks in a row. They laugh a lot.

Lady in a Shoe: January 2014
http://ladyinashoe.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 22, 2014. So this morning I got up, put on my socks and came to the living room to start the fire. It is freezing in here. I wanted to write for you sweet girls all the mechanics of prayer as soon as I finished my time with the Lord. In the mornings I do a short devotional and leave the deeper study for later in the day (but not every day). The enemy. Already trying to keep me from the important thing. Will I ever get mature enough to not be distracted by the enemy? When I was in high ...

Lady in a Shoe: August 2013
http://ladyinashoe.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 26, 2013. The Lord dropped this pretty girl into our lives back in March. She was expecting twins. After a month in the hospital and a premature birth, she delivered two precious identical girls! Identical, except for the fact that one was quite small. She has some catching up to do. I am so late on this post that is time to do their three month pictures, but I wanted to share are all of this precious! Wednesday, August 21, 2013. He Makes All Things Beautiful. Hope Tacked to the Wall.

Lady in a Shoe: Four Hundred Forty Four Sundays
http://ladyinashoe.blogspot.com/2014/01/four-hundred-forty-four-sundays.html
Saturday, January 18, 2014. Four Hundred Forty Four Sundays. After the big kids went home, it was just us. A Daddy, a Momma and three little girls. Hannah and Leah were ten and Rachel was nine. They jumped into this place as if it was their very own. They love it as if they were called separately by the Lord. They care when people are sick, cry when they die, and celebrate when they come to Jesus. Next week you can start counting anew. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I am wife to Michael and momma to...

Lady in a Shoe: A Weary World Rejoices
http://ladyinashoe.blogspot.com/2013/12/a-weary-world-rejoices.html
Saturday, December 21, 2013. A Weary World Rejoices. Every week there is another issue that divides family, friends, and country. Every week we hear of mommas burying babies, and babies burying mommas. Sometimes in the middle of all of the turmoil and tragedy, joy is also buried and weariness becomes our constant companion. That word came across my phone more than once this past week. My kids are coming home. At the same time we will try to make the obvious not quite so obvious. We will ask the Lord ...
