Tuesday, February 07, 2006. Return From Grand Cayman. I went down to Grand Cayman Island for a week with my biology teacher to study coral reef biology. There I was asked to be an unofficial photographer, though I must say I wasn't even thinking about that, more to the fact that I was BREATHING UNDER WATER. Tuesday, July 26, 2005. This is a Colodian glass negative portrait of me. This plate was slightly under exposed to create what is called an ambrotype. I met Nubar at a new years party, and he showed me the film. I told him immidiately that I would host a link on my blog. It's being shown on www.transom.org. It ponders this from the vantage point of being twenty-one years old, the age that, by law in this country, we are loosed upon the world and may be expected to answer for ourselves.
