It's the broken voice of a friend through tears. I'd like to say that this is the first time i've received this call. but, unfortunately, it's not. it's another family torn apart by the grips of addiction. This time it was a young man who was drunk and in jail. A few months ago it was a friend fighting a drug addiction. How do i help them?

Pain as a Christian is a funny thing. It’s, like, you know that whatever is happening is part of your story, part of what molds you and shapes you. Butit still hurts. That’s the hardest thing about the foreign mission field is that yet they were full of joy part. It’s hard to understand because pain is pain. WHY are they smiling?
