Once upon a pete }. Tuesday, March 26, 2013. In November of 2012, my Dad retired from Conoco Phillips. Since we had just moved here, we were fortunate to be here for this wonderful occasion. Audrey, Sam, and Eli also came up for the weekend to be a part of it. I am thankful for my Dads example of hard work and dedication. It says a lot to have worked for the same company for 37 years! Once upon a pete }. Monday, June 29, 2015. One of our favorite places here is Tony Grove. It's a great little hike that goes around a beautiful lake. Sunday, December 30, 2012. Turns out we do have friends and turns out they like to invite us on fantastic vacations! In November we dropped the kids at our wonderful parent's house and took off with Travis and Lindsy on an 8 hour drive to Veil, Colorado. Truth be told, we were a tad bit nervous. Either we would come back even closer friends or come back enemy's. Lucky for us we came back even better friends! They had these adorable little statues all over the city! Sunday, May 30, 2010. Assateague Island-known for it's wild horses (near Ocean City). This was probably the most spontaneous trip we've taken. By 2pm we decided to go camping at Assateague and by 2:30 we were packed and out the door. Check out the deer near our tent! Minutes after this photo was taken I learned that it's illegal to touch the wild horses and if caught there's a pretty hefty fine. Oops! The famous homemade icecream Dumser's Shakes. Check out the still shot of beautiful wild horse galloping.
