The craziness began on Friday night while I was scrapbooking with a friend at my house.the kids were playing and watching movies in the next room and I hear this screaming. Isaac has a Lego stuck up his nose and it's bleeding! They have the perfect suspension-grasping action which was exactly what I needed to grab hold of the Lego and pull it right out. EVERY mother should have a pair of these things in their home!

My niece, Marley, has been hospitalized since Saturday when she was feverish and cyanotic (just her lips were blue- does that word still apply? Anyhoo the docs at Mammoth Hospital discovered she had sleep apnea and a UTI. The apnea would cause her resp. rate to tank at any given time as low as 8 breaths per min. (wikipedia says optimum resp. rate for an infant is 20-40 bpm). Friday, January 16, 2009. Not sure if it's a great blessing or what.
