Life with the Capps. Wednesday, February 16, 2011. Derrick and I also did our Valentine's countdown that we did last year. Each day we had a little task given to us to do for each other through out the day. We danced to our wedding song, we did a crossword puzzle together (first to finish got a 2 minute massage), we wrote cheesy Valentines for each other, etc. It was fun. Thursday, August 26, 2010. As you can see, I'm not much of a blogger these days. Joe and I have had a great time working on this together. First, we finished the floor:. Then I painted - I finally found the shade of red that I love - the deepest I could find. It makes me want to repaint the rest of the red in my house that wasn't quite right. but maybe that can wait for another day. I also turned all of the brass in the bathroom into a rubbed bronze (see the shower? Next was the panel moulding.

Monday, May 24, 2010. Bathroom pictures. Read prior post first! Here's a sample of the grout problem. Joe and I have a hunch that this floor was refinished since the house was originally built 10 years ago, it was just done poorly. Thursday, October 28, 2010. I don't have much time, but it has been quite a long time since I last posted so I thought I'd do a quick update. I finished re-staining my bathroom cabinets quite a while ago and I've also given the girls' bathroom cabinets a new face. I'll post those pics soon. Me and my Nelson men. Monday, December 10, 2012. Every morning I get to come in to this little face, the first thing I ask him is how he slept and what he dreamt about. Every day for the last week I am caught before I ask, and he says, "MOM. Mom. I dreamed 'bout cheeeekins! Some days its about cows too. Perhaps this kid needs to be raised on a farm?
