The Maurers: August 2015
http://markkatymaurer.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 30, 2015. Welcome Riley Quinn Maurer! We're going to be skipping a few things from the end of summer that I'll have to come back to, but this deserved a post! Remember WAAAAY back in February or March when I posted that the girls were going to be big sisters in September? Well, Riley decided to prove me wrong and bless us with her presence three weeks early in August! I received the epidural (it worked this time! And after a few conversations with the doctor and nurses, and explaining to t...

The Maurers: December 2014

Sunday, December 28, 2014. The first.and only.real snow. Last year by this time, it felt like we'd shoveled ten feet of snow. This year, the girls were super excited when the light dusting arrived in the middle of November. Unfortunately, it was too warm for it to stick, but they were out the door like lightning to play outside before it melted. Payton couldn't throw enough snow balls. Paige was hoarding the snow off the chairs to make giant snow balls. And Reagan was just Reagan. Happy as a clam! Again,...

Sunday, May 31, 2015. March - May Randomness. A lot of sleepless nights helped me to get motivated to start cleaning off my phone. There's nothing worse than attempting to take a video or a picture, and receiving the "out of storage" message. 350 deleted pictures later, and a bunch of uploading, I present you with the randomness of the month (as always, in no particular order)! After a ton of phone calls (and a good friend notifying us that Learning Express had some), we found them! Pictured above is the...

Tuesday, August 26, 2014. First Day of First Grade! I'm not sure where exactly the summer went, but although it started out slowly, suddenly it was over! I can honestly say this year was easier than sending her off to Kindergarten. I do think sending her there for a full day helped immensely. Paige was one very excited first grader! Once we got to school, the girls wanted a picture together. Clearly there was so much going on, it was hard to get them all to look at the camera at the same time! She was ev...

The Maurers: September 2014

Saturday, September 27, 2014. Disney World - Day One. I was a little concerned of how well they'd fair when I had to wake them at 3:45 am, but as always, they surprised me and were ready and raring to go! My parents and Auntie Clare made it to the house and as the rain started POURING, the limo showed up! 4:30 AM limo rides are the best! The girls were FANTASTIC on the plane. They were so excited to take off and get there. Luckily, the rain didn't give us any delays, and we were on our way! After Small W...

The Maurers: June 2015
http://markkatymaurer.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 29, 2015. Saturday was a pretty cool day, so we decided to avoid the pool and just put one up in our yard (Mark's favorite thing to do). The girls didn't last very long, because the breeze was chilly, so I'm glad we didn't head all the way to Oswego to turn around and come right back. Another one of my $7 finds at Target's end of season clearance. Mark laughs at me for stocking up on clearance pools, but the girls are definitely happy about it! The carousel. Woo Hoo. The Maurers: October 2014

Tuesday, October 14, 2014. Now It's Time, To Say Goodbye, To All Our Family. Saturday was our last and final full day at Disney. I couldn't believe how quickly the time came and went! We decided to head to Epcot for a bit to check it out and see if the girls would enjoy it at all. After a stop at Spaceship Earth (the giant golf ball looking ride), we decided to get a few snacks and coffee. Nothing like grapes and coffee to get the day started! My little Harry Potter. :-). Sassy, just like Auntie Clare!

Wednesday, April 22, 2015. Fancy Nancy: The Musical! Back in September, we purchased tickets to see Fancy Nancy: The Musical. In March. Talk about a long wait! March came in like a lion (snow and all! And the girls were excited to head to the city to see the musical. They are all big Fancy Nancy fans, and even more excited to have Mommy and Me dates. :-). We arrived at the theater with time to spare! Paige was very excited for a Saturday morning with her BFF's. :-). She was so happy! It was such a fun mo...

The Maurers: January 2015
http://markkatymaurer.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 29, 2015. I promise.almost to Christmas. :-). As per usual, here's the randomness post to get us caught up as quickly as possible. The girls decided to help Daddy make guacamole. I'm pretty sure that consists of Mark cooking, and the girls sucking on limes. Don't get me wrong, I love the beach. But this, right here, is Heaven to me. Kids sleeping, Hallmark channel Christmas movie, and a fire. Like I said, Heaven. Reagan was involved in a serious game of dominoes with Nana! Even Mackenzi...

Sunday, June 29, 2014. Wisconsin Dells - Friday. Last fall, I helped to raise money for St. Jude while doing a 5K walk. In having raised the most money (thanks to some very generous friends and family! I received a gift card to Kalahari Resort. In the Wisconsin Dells. Unfortunately, each and every time I planned a family trip to The Dells, someone ended up getting sick, so we had to keep cancelling. We were looking forward to checking out the Kalahari, because we had heard great things about it. Payton w...
