Friday, February 22, 2013. Most Frequently Asked Question. I thought today I'd tackle the answer to the question I'm asked the most:. What material do you use to make your stamps? This is my humongous stash of Staedtler's MasterCarve rubber carving blocks. Unfortunately this wonderful material has been discontinued for a few years. And it doesn't look like it's making a comeback any time soon. I have enough to last me a decade I guess :-). I've also used Speedy-Carve rubber blocks. Links to this post.

Tuesday, February 25, 2014. Photography - Winter Woods. Thursday, February 20, 2014. Art in New Zealand. Christchurch, New Zealand was colorful and full of innovative art. The city responded to earthquake damage by putting up installations in areas of damage. I loved the trees and flowers in NZ, they were beautiful! Carving at the NZ base (Scott Base) in Antarctica, maybe about half a mile from the American Base, McMurdo. All the buildings and vehicles are green at Scott Base! Tuesday, February 18, 2014.

We landed in Vegas than made our way to Zion National Park in Utah, then the Grand Canyon in Arizona, than the desert outside of Phoenix. We made many cool stops along the way! Friday, May 18, 2012. Set sail for the kingdom. I'm looking forward to bringing everything I experienced in my first year at UMaine into various projects over the summer. I will definitely be making art in my free time as per usual, and I have been getting some comic-drawing books at the library to work with, but I am excited to see what I can do with some of my new or increased skills gained through my art classes! Talus and cliff view from campsite at Columbia 7/27-28/09. A sketch I started off our ten...

Saturday, June 29, 2013. Most days I longboard to get around the UMaine campus. This summer I decided to decorate the bottom with markers, pen, and acrylic paint. Before doing this, I sanded the surface, and then afterwards put a clear finish back over. Friday, June 28, 2013. This summer I have been working on my portfolio: organizing it, presenting it, and adding to it. I decided to create an account on Carbonmade: http:/ jillpeltoart.carbonmade.com/.
