The Daniel Family Blog. So much of what we learn of love, we learn at home". Thursday, July 25, 2013. Our family spent an extended weekend with the Jones family at Big Cedar Lodge near Branson the weekend of Fourth of July. We've known the Jones family since both our daughters were born and have been friends since. The children are close in age and the adults share Coleman history so it's never a dull moment. Landon earned all 3's (mastery) with the exception of a 2 on solving word problems in math. For Valentine's Day, we decided that we would take the girls to Build a Bear Workshop, since they have been begging and begging! We told them on Thursday that we had a special surprise for Friday night. They had no clue until we walked up the the store in the mall. Their faces just lit up! I will take the fact that they are already begging to go back as a sign they loved their Valentine adventure!

The girls were so excited, thinking they would be able to play after school. Laney decided to get a head start and go out and play with Ribby. A while now we’ve been considering getting an allotment so that we could have another outdoor activity that we could do with the kids and a few weeks ago we got word that some private allotments have become available. Wasting no time, we went to see them and we booked our plot the very same day. The start of something new. Seeds have been sown and we’ve all got our fingers crossed.

Tuesday, November 8, 2011. Over fall break McKay and I made a quick trip up to Washington to see my parents and my grandma who will be 96 this month! It was a short trip, but we made the most of it visiting family, taking a trip to the Darigold cheese factory in Sunnyside, and to Boehms chocolates! So we started snapping pictures out the window of the car as we made the 9-1/2 hour drive home. Pictures going over the Blues. McKay got a lot of experience driving and I tried to relax while he was doing it!
