Saturday, July 18, 2015. Chiang Mai Day 4: 13/4/15. It's also called the Water Festival, because people basically just splash each other with water throughout the whole city. People usually sit in the back of their trucks with buckets of water, water guns or a hose, or they walk the city on foot. And there'll be shops along the street selling ice, water guns and food for the festival! It's just incredibly chaotic, wet and messy. Amazing.
