Thursday, July 15, 2010. Hardy Party Camping Adventures. The 2nd annual Hardy camping trip was underway again this year. David, Laurie, Mckay and Erin went down to Boulder Mountain on July 7th and we couldn't meet them until the 9th because we had to work. It was a short trip for us with only 2 nights, 2 days. It's true, I have been having an itch to sew, craft, change things in my house, etc. Lucky for me Crew had to have a stocking for his first Christmas so I decided to make one for each of us. I love how cheap you can make stuff for! I made three stockings for the price you can buy one in a store. Plus I still have enough fabric. Saturday, June 25, 2011. Halle is 17 months old. Where does the time go? We have Loving the warm weather! We have been swimming, lots of walks, visits to the Park and lots of playing in the Sandbox! Just a little update. Since the year if half over I thought it is time to give you all an update on my New Year's Resolutions. Since I don't feel like finding the previous post and linking you to it here, I will just remind you of what my resolutions were. 2: Finally kick my Diet Coke habit- When I made this resolution I didn't really know what it meant. Kindness don't have no boundaries. A couple of weeks ago I finished reading. By Kathryn Stockett. It is such a great book- one that really makes you think about things. It takes place in the South during the 1960s and focuses primarily on a young white woman and 2 older black maids. It is very well written and sort of based on the author's real life. Sunday, September 25, 2011. We Didnt Start the Fire. It's probably pretty sad that L got super excited when we pulled into Lowes' parking lot yesterday. A summer full of landscaping (almost done btw) has yielded numerous trips to the home improvement superstore, to the point where I know which associates can actually answer questions, and which ones can't.
